Pod Drive is designed to work with all energy suppliers, however, there are some restrictions on how you can pay and what you can access if you are on a smart EV tariff (typically where EV charging is managed by your energy supplier through their app).

Pay upfront

You can purchase and use a Pod Point charger while you're on a smart EV tariff, however Pod Rewards won't be available to you.

Subscribe

Smart EV tariffs such as Intelligent Octopus Go, Octopus Intelligent Drive Pack, OVO Charge Anytime and other smart electricity tariffs that are not single rate or two-rate tariffs are not compatible with our subscription. For customers who wish to subscribe, or earn cash via Pod Rewards – you'll need to be on a standard tariff or a time-of-use tariff.
